Chest Measurement: Place tape under arms and measure around the broadest part of the chest. Make sure tape is snug but can move freely with one finger between body and tape.
Overarm Measurement: The both arm on side place tape around the broadest part of chest and shoulders. This measurement is critical for a proper coat fit if you have overly broad shoulders.
Waist Measurement: Place tape around the waist at the level of navel. This is the height at which formal trousers are worn. Make sure tape is snug but can move freely.
Outseam Measurement: Look straight ahead during this measurement. Place start of the tape at side of waist at the level of the navel. Stretch tape down side of leg until you reach top of the shoe heel.
Shirt Neck: Place tape around neck at the level the collar would be buttoned. Place one finger between neck and the tape and make sure the tape is snug but move freely.
Shirt Sleeves: Look straight ahead and keep arm on the side. Place start of tape at base of neck at center of spine. Move tape over top of shoulder and down arm just below wrist bone. Round measurement to closet inch mark.
